Submission of an annotation does not alter the underlying public record.

If TexArrest is accessed via a mobile application:

The application may collect:

TexArrest does not access contacts, messages, photos, precise location, or other device content.

Some agencies remove booking images after a defined period. When a mugshot is publicly available:

  • TexArrest may retrieve the image at the time of access
  • A copy may be stored and displayed as part of the historical arrest record

The continued display of an image reflects its lawful public availability at the time of collection and archival retrieval, and does not imply current custody, guilt, or ongoing publication by the originating agency.

4.3 Corrections, Review & Legal Removal

TexArrest provides a free process to request review or correction of inaccurate information.

Removal of arrest records occurs only when legally required, such as when a valid court order of expunction, nondisclosure, or sealing is provided, or when the record is factually incorrect.

Under Texas law, dismissals, reduced charges, or canceled cases do not automatically require removal of arrest records unless a qualifying court order is issued.

4.4 Copyright Concerns

If you believe copyrighted material has been improperly displayed on TexArrest, you may submit a written notice to legal@texarrest.com including sufficient information to identify the content and the basis for the claim.

5. Data Sharing

TexArrest does not sell or share personal data with marketers, advertisers, or data brokers.

Limited data may be shared with trusted service providers solely for operational purposes, including:
